A TRIBUTE TO GOLDEN GOLDMAN

Golden Goldman, a Facebook poster on many sites concerning psychopathy and narcissism, died March 23, 2017 at the age of 35.   His posts were always pithy, witty, and insightful. For those of you who would like to see Golden's Facebook site and remember him, just Facebook search his name Golden Goldman. He lived in Vancouver, Washington.

Perceptive, knowledgeable and highly intelligent, he was also kind and compassionate, seeking to help others while searching for answers like all of us.

His absence was noted after his postings ceased on March 18. His years were short, but he left behind his own unique mark that touched many of our lives.

This tribute to Golden Goldman is testimony that all of our lives are interconnected as we support each other in this journey of life.  We are all in this together, my friends.

O Lord, may perpetual light shine on our brother Golden, and may his soul rest in peace. Amen.

Female Psychopaths - All Psychopaths are Narcissists

Winifred Rule is a member of the Society for the Scientific Study of Psychopathy, and is author of Born to Destroy, the first instructional work on the female psychopath, based on her experiences and lessons learned from living with two psychopaths--her mother and her sister.  Her work has been featured in libraries and curriculums of major universities in the United States and abroad.  Most recently, Born to Destroy was accepted into the collections of Columbia University and the Leninka Library, Russia’s Library of Congress, to assist psychiatrists, researchers and lay people to better understand the impact of psychopaths in everyday life. Rule has received certification in using the principal diagnostic instrument for evaluating psychopathic characteristics (Dr. Robert D. Hare’s PCL-R) from the Darkstone Group, the only organization authorized to issue this certification in the world.

Female Psychopaths: Callous and Unemotional from Birth?

CALLOUS - UNEMOTIONAL traits are associated with being a psychopath.

One of the last times I saw my father alive, Dad shared a secret with me that he had never told anyone.  He expressed sadness about my older sister Dee, telling me that he could never get close to Dee from when she was a baby, no matter how hard he tried.  Dee remained callous and unemotional all of her life.  Dad died with that pain buried in his heart.

Children who display a callous and unemotional demeanor are at high risk of being a psychopath.

Female Psychopaths - Blind to What They Are

Psychopathy researchers have found that psychopaths do not recognize or acknowledge they have a character disorder.  In short, the psychopath does not believe he or she is a psychopath.  They do not see this disorder in themselves.  I saw this in my personal experience with my mother and sister who surpass the definition for clinical psychopaths.  When they learned of my book, Born to Destroy, my sister Dee left a message on my answering machine saying, "You are the psychopath!" Though I wrote under a pseudonym, my book is based on fact and is entirely true.  The psychopath has an uncanny way of turning around facts, making you guilty for doing to them what they have done to you!
